Delicious hints of liquorice and candied citrus fruits complete this olfactory picture, complemented by a nostalgic note of fairground sweets.

Palate : The palate reveals a lasting surprise. The attack, with its unexpected and almost animalistic sweetness, gives way to a sensual, gamey smokiness, reminiscent of the deep aromas of mountain cuisine seared by fire. This whisky is distinguished by its full, rich and generous texture, offering an enveloping ‘chewiness’. The rye then unfolds with a syrupy and creamy persistence, gliding smoothly and seamlessly across the palate.
