KOMAGATAKE 40th Anniversary Special Edition

This special single malt Japanese whisky was crafted to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Mars Komagatake Distillery, which began operations in 1985 and celebrates its milestone in 2025.It is a unique expression that blends whiskies from four decades—1980s, 1990s, 2010s, and 2020s—excluding the mothballed 2000s, to embody the distillery’s 40- year history in a single bottle. A variety of casks, including bourbon, sherry, and American white oak, were used. To preserve the original spirit, the whisky is bottled non-chill-filtered, allowing you to enjoy its natural flavor. By highlighting its heritage as a distillery with four decades of history, Mars aims to clearly differentiate themselves from emerging craft distilleries.
