The Cotswolds distillery was founded in 2014 by Daniel Szor. In the summer of 2022, a new distillery equipped with a two-ton mash tun was opened on the same site, allowing it to quadruple its production. Made from locally grown Odyssey barley prepared at England’s oldest maltings Warminster Maltings Ltd, this version highlights the quality of Cotswolds’ crystal clear spirit. With incredible balance, it naturally combines gently malted, herbaceous, fruity and vanilla sequence.

Color : Or soutenu.

Nose : Fine, fresh. On the first nose, refined notes of herbs, fruits (Mirabelle plum, banana) and spices (ginger, star anise) bring plenty of light to the aroma palette, which then moves into vanilla, sunny (cut hay) and honeyed (acacia) registers.

Palate : Rich, distinguished. Continuing on from the nose, the attack is intensely malty, roasted (coffee) and tropical (pineapple, yellow kiwi). The invigorating and nuanced mid-palate is magnificently spicy (cardamom, clove), hot (espelette pepper) and herbaceous (oregano).

Overall : Long, full-bodied. Deliciously syrupy (ripe grape) and rich (cake, candied fruit), the finish first emphasizes the malty, earthy character of the taste palette. Gradually, lemon zest refreshes the incredibly energetic after-taste.
