At the distillery in Cormeilles, in the Eure region, the single malt whisky was distilled in copper stills and then aged in Kentucky casks before being bottled. Made from barley from the plains of the Eure department and local water, Cormeil pure malt was quickly awarded a gold medal at an international competition in Brussels.
