PROFILE: This calvados reveals an alluring, full profile, featuring notes of cooked apple, spices and cloves. Produced from a double distillation of pure apple, this calvados is matured for at least five years in recent casks before continuing its ageing for four to five years in old casks.

Nose : Enticing and fresh. Precise notes of sweet cider, baked apple, and gingerbread. It opens with more vegetal and floral notes. Gradually becomes fruitier with hints of citrus and prune. Evokes an almond liqueur.

Palate : Full and gentle. The more present wood structures and channels the fruity notes from the nose. Soft spices appear mid-palate. Great balance.

Overall : Harmonious, with no bitterness or astringency. It lingers on the fruit, with apple notes. A medicinal touch with clove and arnica.
