PROFILE : This single malt reveals a rich and ample profile, featuring peated, coastal, sea spray, chocolate and spicy notes. Crafted from Concerto barley, this cask strength bottling was matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel.

Heavily Peated
Color : jaune doré soutenu.
Nose : Rich, ample. An oily, rich, and earthy peat initially permeates an aromatic palette that is otherwise saline and iodized (sea spray). Upon breathing, chocolatey, spicy (nutmeg, clove), and medicinal (camphor, gum arabic) aromas accentuate the sensation of power emanating from it.
Palate : Lively, full-bodied. After an initial lemony sequence, compact blocks of peat wash over the entire palate. Having become more pastoral (dandelion) and brimming with mineral salts, the flavor palette now allows smooth, luscious, and fruity flavors (acacia honey, pineapple) to fully express themselves.
Overall : Smooth, dense. Taking on more animal (bacon, smoked lard), empyreumatic (soot, lava), root-like (ginger, radish), and chocolatey nuances, the peat has gained even more smoothness and indulgence. This evolution is confirmed by a retro-olfaction that is both vanilla-toned and deeply malty (porridge).
