PROFILE : This single malt reveals a profile that is lively and precise, featuring notes of citrus, white flowers, noble spices, vanilla and resin. Crafted from the Odyssey barley variety, this cask strength bottling was matured in a first-fill bourbon cask.

Nose : Lively, precise. Full-bodied, the aromatic palette fluctuates between citrus (lemon, grapefruit), fresh walnut, wildflower honey, noble spices (cardamom, star anise), and white flowers (lily of the valley, lilac). Upon breathing, subtle vanilla and mentholated aromas highlight the quality of a perfectly integrated woodiness.
Palate : Dynamic, dense. Echoing the delightfully vanilla and mentholated character of the nose, it is also marked by flavors of zucchini fritter and artichoke. Evocative and natural, it then propels us into the middle of a barley field swept by sea winds.
Overall : Distinguished, silky. An accomplished synthesis of the nose and palate, it proves to be at once finely tannic (barley grain), verdant, and resinous (pine, Vosges pine candy). On the retro-olfaction and in the empty glass, aromas of musk, barley porridge, dried flowers, and stave oak compete in intensity.
