PROFILE : This single malt reveals a fine and sleek profile, featuring smoky, empyreumatique, medicinal, mineral and fruity notes. Crafted from Odyssey barley, this cask strength bottling was matured in a bourbon cask that previously contained a peated whisky.

Nose : Fine, distinguished. Exuding highly pleasant aromas of eucalyptus, cypress, and burning cigar, the aromatic palette also shines with its abundant fruitiness (lime, green apple, almond). Upon breathing, it becomes increasingly medicinal (balm), ashy, camphorous, and mineral (slate).
Palate : Lively, noble. Shrouded in a diaphanous smoke, the flavor palette first deploys agave flavors that evoke a great mezcal. Then, it returns smoothly to malty (barley porridge) and liquorice territory. Over time, fresh fruits (apple, greengage plum) release a fresh juice that spreads across the edges of the palate.
Overall : Taut, elegant. Mentholated, verdant (cut hay, alfalfa), and empyreumatic (embers, rubber), it intensely reproduces the eucalyptus and lime aromas from the initial nose. On the retro-olfaction, aromas of green pepper and charcoal pair wonderfully with flavors of orgeat syrup and green olive.
