This 13-year-old Caol Ila single cask, fully matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead and bottled at natural cask strength, vividly expresses Scottish peat and Spanish sherry influences. It is a subtle tribute to the exotic and rhythmic character of flamenco dancing, reflecting both power and elegance. Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other spirits. Founded by Angus MacRaild – also the author of the WhiskySponge blog – the philosophy centers on quality, enjoyment, and not taking life too seriously. This playful spirit appears both on the blog and on the labels of the bottlings, featuring the Sponge character in many imaginative forms. Most releases are single casks, divided among different ranges such as Spongeverse, Equinox & Solstice, Equilibrium, and NAS.
