Viticulteur à Saint Saturnin en Charente, M.Bourgoin élabore des cognacs atypiques autant sur le fond que sur la forme. Son ambition : dépoussiérer ce spiritueux AOC d’exception qu'est le cognac afin de le faire redécouvrir au consommateur français. Le domaine familial existe depuis 1933 et s'étend aujourd'hui sur 90 hectares. Des cognacs sans assemblage, sans filtration, sans colorant, sans sucre ajouté. Les lots sont isolés par millésimes, par terroir (premiers bois ou fins bois ou petite champagne), et par fût (single cask). Les vieux millésimes sont vendus non réduit (full proof). Les réductions sont toujours faites à l'eau de pluie pour optimiser la portance aromatique. Les sous-tirages sont effectués en nouvelle lune par gravité pour bénéficier au mieux de la mécanique des fluides. La mise en bouteille est faite à 100% à la main sur le domaine.
