BARBADOS 15 ans NAS D.D.

The fifth release in our Notable Age Statements series is a 15 year old rum distilled at Foursquare distillery in Barbados. It is a multi-vintage, small batch bottling composed of two barrels from 2005 and 2007 respectively and bottled at 50%. Both casks spent at least 11 years maturing tropically in Barbados before transfer to the UK. This is the second part of this vatting that we have bottled, the first half being used at 57.1% for our Rum Sponge Edition 19.

Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other fine spirits. Angus MacRaild - also author of the WhiskySponge blog - is the founder. His philosophy is quality, fun and not taking life too seriously. This quirky side can be seen both in his blog and on the labels of his bottlings with this sponge character in a wide variety of styles.
These bottlings, mostly single casks, are divided into different brands such as the Spongeverse, Equinox & Solstice and Equilibrium. The Spongeverse includes WhiskySponge, RumSponge, CognacSponge, ArmagnacSponge and WineSponge.
