BACHE GABRIELSEN 14 ans 2011 Cognac Petite Champagne

The year 2011 was marked by an exceptionally mild and dry spring and autumn in France. April and October were particularly warm, creating unusual conditions for the vineyards of Cognac. These weather conditions favoured vine growth and led to an early and steady ripening cycle. With less rainfall, the vines naturally produced lower yields, making the 2011 harvest more limited and therefore rarer. In return, the grapes developed beautifully concentrated and expressive aromas, giving this 2011 Petite Champagne a vibrant intensity and truly distinctive character. Despite the warmth of that year, this vintage retained a wonderful freshness. The resulting Cognac is beautifully balanced, offering depth, freshness and a long, elegant finish.
