SHIGEMASU
Founded in 1717, the Takahashi family brewery has over 300 years of history.
It all began when the founder, Rokurouemon Takahashi, established a sake brewery in Yame, a region renowned for its rice.
Over the years, the brewery went through several key phases, notably under the 9th generation master, Takekichi, who laid its foundations, and the 10th, Shigetarō, who transformed it into a modern company.
Thanks to these developments, the brewery is now led by its 19th-generation successor.
