After being matured initially in a bourbon cask, this bottling was then transferred to a charred American oak cask, hence the name “fût noir”, which means “black cask”. Deploying a powerful medicinal register throughout the tasting, its palette of flavours and aromas is additionally nourished by especially indulgent vanilla notes that not only softly coat the taste buds but above all underscore the quality of the perfectly integrated wood notes.
