The first age-statement bottling in the range, Armorik 10 Year Old reveals the full potential of the distillery’s few thousand casks, as well as the expertise of its cellar master and his mastery of maturation.
To highlight the meticulous blending work aimed at achieving perfect balance, eleven casks were selected for this Armorik 10: seven bourbon casks, two sherry-finished casks, one Pedro Ximénez cask, and one cognac cask.
The result is a remarkably expressive and fruity whisky, with a complex aromatic profile marked by exotic fruit, oak, and spicy notes.
Nose : Expressive and intense. Notes of exotic fruits and raisins, with a pastry-like nose and elegant oak character (fresh oak and vanilla).
Palate : Complex and rounded. Exotic fruits (banana), honey, liquorice, and vanilla.
Overall : Long and oaky. Toasted bread, red fruits, and a hint of pepper
