Nose : Subtle, delicate. On the initial nose, the wispy smoke of a subtle Havana cigar wafts through an atmosphere infused with honeyed (lavender), floral (violet, peppery rose), and malty (oatmeal) scents. As it breathes, the aromatic profile takes on empyreumatic (tar, shale) and milky (strawberry yogurt) notes.

Palate : Lively, slender. Mineral (charcoal), herbaceous (cut hay, straw), fruity (citrus zest), and ashy—the flavor profile builds in intensity and takes on increasingly pronounced earthy and salty notes. From that point on, a chocolatey, root-like, animal, oily, and medicinal (iodine tincture) peat deeply permeates the palate.

Overall : Long, silky. At first, the taste buds are bathed in the tangy juice of various citrus fruits (lemon, kaffir lime, grapefruit). This refreshing and lively interlude serves to highlight the vegetal and briny notes of a peat that has become much more crumbly. Evoking a malting yard, the retro-olfaction is at the same time a pure fruity delight (William pear, Reinette apple).
