From the Founding House of Japanese Whisky and Japan’s first malt whisky distillery (Yamazaki, 1923), this Mizunara Cask expression is the highest-aged Suntory Mizunara whisky ever released. Fully matured in Mizunara casks — a rarity in the market where most see only a finish — it develops, after long ageing, a deep and complex bouquet reminiscent of sandalwood, coconut, and smouldering incense. Overseen by Shinji Fukuyo, Chief Blender and Master Blender of the Year (International Spirits Challenge 2024), it embodies the Yamazaki style, with Mizunara casks as a unifying foundation. This prestigious single malt follows in the footsteps of the House’s great successes, including the 12-Year-Old named Supreme Champion Spirit at ISC 2024.
