X MUSE Vodka

X MUSE, pronounced "Tenth Muse," is the first blended vodka made from barley, inspired by Scotland’s rich spirit-making traditions. It is not crafted from mass-produced industrial barley but from two ancient varieties, Plumage Archer and Marris Otter, which are distilled separately. These barleys, prized for their flavour rather than their yield, give X MUSE its exceptionally smooth, rich, and complex character—making it perfect for sipping neat as well as an essential ingredient in cocktails. The shape of the X MUSE bottle is inspired by the land art of American artist Charles Jencks, whose work is at the heart of Jupiter Artland, the spiritual home of X MUSE—a majestic sculpture park near Edinburgh. The brand’s name references the nine muses of inspiration from antiquity, with the Tenth Muse symbolizing the balance and perfection achieved by uniting all nine—a quality reflected in X MUSE vodka. It is also the title of a sculpture by renowned Scottish artist Ian Hamilton Finlay, also housed at Jupiter Artland.
