THORNAES Whisky Single Malt Sonoma Peat

One of the very last bottlings in The Uncharted Series, Sonoma Peat is based on originally made 1st fill Bourbon casks at 55 litres. All casks were sourced from the region of Sonoma in California - hence the name - and filled with medium peated spirit in the late fall of 2020. After a good four years in the casks the result has all the characteristics of a delightful, classic Single Malt Whisky, although treated with the intense care of the smaller casks, the flavour profile remains very prominent with a long aftertaste of lingering and well balanced peat. This dram carries the known creamy texture, which is a trademark of Thornæs Whisky, and has been proofed to create an instantly enjoyable and relaxed experience.
