PENDERYN 25 ans Cask n°1

This single malt was selected to launch a new series of 25-year-old Penderyn whiskies. Sourced from the very first cask filled after distillation began at the Penderyn Distillery in the Brecon Beacons on September 14, 2000, this sherry cask has been patiently aged to this day, yielding just 420 bottles of the iconic “Welsh Gold” (Aur Cymru). This rare expression embodies the patience of time and the remarkable influence of the wood. Over the course of twenty-five years of maturation, Penderyn’s delicate and fruity distillate has gained depth and refinement. The subtle sweetness of the sherry harmoniously intertwines with the distillery’s signature fruitiness and elegance, allowing the unique character of Welsh whiskey to fully express itself.
