Nose : An assertive burst of ripe red fruits and a jam-like sweetness reminiscent of late-harvested berries and stone fruit jams. Aromas of raspberry and blackcurrant jam intertwine with floral notes reminiscent of Turkish delight, while toasted oak, clove, and hints of anise add complexity and elegance.

Palate : Smooth and velvety, it immediately coats the palate with notes of red berries poached in wine and delicately spiced fruit. Strawberry, blackberry, and blackcurrant come through first, before giving way to flavors of barley sugar and the indulgent sweetness of dark syrup.

Overall : Long and sumptuous. Notes of raisins, toasted oak, and sweet malt gradually fade, giving way to drier nuances of sea salt and delicately charred wood.
