Nose : Clean on the nose, it opens with soft notes of sweet malt and vanilla cream. The heavily charred American oak imparts aromas of toasted coconut and butter caramel, while delicate notes of citrus zest and green melon lend a lovely freshness.
Palate : The texture sets the tone: full-bodied, creamy, enveloping, and richly smooth. The high alcohol content adds a peppery warmth without ever being overpowering. Flavors of vanilla milkshake, Scottish tablet, and warm cream pie mingle with notes of pear candy and malt syrup.
