NINKASI Imperial Stout Barrel Aged #01 Unitaire

This beer is the result of a collaboration between Ninkasi's brewers and Alban, their master distiller. Imperial Stout Barrel Aged #01 is the result of a recipe for Imperial stout (dark beer) that was left to rest for several weeks on cocoa barks. Once this infusion was complete, the beer was transferred to Ninkasi Whisky barrels for several months' maturation. During barrel ageing, the beer's coffee and cocoa notes were enriched by woody and nutty notes. Barrel Aged beers are perfect for aging. Kept upright in a cool, dry place, they will improve with age.
