NINE LEAVES 10 ans 2016 Ex-Red Wine Cask - Nine of Oru

JAPANESE RUM : Nine Leaves 10 Year Old 2016 is a black sugar rum from Japan.

PROFILE : This rum unveils a full-bodied and fresh profile, featuring vanillic, mineral, liqueur, empyreumatic and lemony notes. Crafted from kokuto black sugar, this bottling undergoes a four-day fermentation, is distilled in a pot still and matured in a cask that previously contained a red wine from the Californian estate Wente Vineyards.

DID YOU KNOW? Following the closure of the distillery in 2023, Velier bought all the remaining stocks to preserve its heritage, adorning each bottling with an illustration taken from Unsun Karuta, a traditional Japanese card game from the Edo period.
