Rye whiskey category. The May 2015 inaugural release of Michter’s US★1 Barrel Strength Rye marked yet another
milestone in that quest. This 2024 release is the first one since 2022.
As a single barrel product, each barrel is bottled at its particular alcohol level at the time of bottling. The bottling strength of this 2024 release ranged from 108.2 proof (54.1% ABV) to 113.6 proof (56.8% ABV).
Nose : Butterscotch and cinnamon with a hint of cherries on the nose
Palate : warming, rich, toasty vanilla and caramel
