Nose : Beautifully rich, with intense notes of sherry-soaked fruit. Dark chocolate truffles combine with cinnamon and ginger to add depth and richness.
Palate : Dried fruits — notably sultanas, dates and apricots — accompanied by a rich ginger cake and molasses caramel. A jam-like richness, balanced by comforting notes of clove and cinnamon, evolves into cocoa and refined oak.
Overall : Long and warm, characterised by gentle woody spices, a hint of espresso and delicate waves of oak.
