LONGMORN 53 years 1966 Anniversary Releases G&M

Founded in 1894 near Elgin, in the heart of Speyside, Longmorn is particularly prized for the richness and elegance of its spirit. Its naturally fruity, full-bodied and textured character has a remarkable ability to withstand extended maturation. Over several decades, fresh fruit evolves towards deeper layers of candied and dried fruits, wax and spice, while the oak gradually adds remarkable maturity and complexity. Distilled on 1 February 1966 and bottled on 22 March 2019, this 53-year-old Longmorn matured in a 1st Fill Sherry Butt. Bottled at 46% and limited to just 30 bottles, it showcases the extraordinary depth developed through more than half a century of maturation. Sherry influence comes through intensely in dark fruits, prunes and spices, accompanied by liquorice, tobacco and beautifully integrated mature oak.
