To capture all the richness of this Linkwood matured in sweet red wine casks, you need to inhale the scent of the empty glass for a good few minutes. Captivating scents of lily and iris coated in precious wood persist on honey and fresh fruit (pomegranate). The grain, hitherto overshadowed by wine, is now fully expressed. A second tasting has just taken place.
Nose : onctueux, gourmand et finement boisé, le premier nez révèle des notes de moka, de café et de bonbon à la myrtille. Exotique (goyave), il évolue avec noblesse sur le tabac et sur les fleurs capiteuses (lys, iris).
Overall : légèrement tannique et dotée d’une agréable amertume fruitée, elle se montre tonique. Son fruité gagne en intensité (gelée de pomme). Présence de notes crémeuses de marron et de café relevées par des épices (badiane, girofle).
