PROFILE : Lagg Corriecravie Edition reveals an intense and smoky profile, featuring notes of peat, spices and red berries. It is initially aged in bourbon casks before undergoing a six-month finish in sherry oloroso casks.

Nose : Refined, complex. On the first nose, delicate notes of lavender and orange coat an increasingly empyreumatic (sleet) and oily peat. Allowed to breathe, chocolate tones develop. Strong spices (clove, black pepper) then appear alongside the heady fragrances of iris butter.
Appearance : Cuivre orangé.
Palate : Powerful, lively. The rooty attack (ginger, gentian) offers up delicious honey bonbons that gradually take on medicinal tones (ointment). The mineral end of the palate is also malty and powdery (cocoa).
Overall : Long, creamy. At the start of the finish, the peat recovers its oily,mineral-rich character. The iodine (seaweed, sea spray) and tarry after-taste is seeped in the vapours of a premium Havana cigar.
