This Kilchoman bears witness to an unprecedented encounter between the Isle of Islay and France’s Roussillon region! This single malt, crafted by Islay’s only independent, family-run farm distillery, was aged in Maury Grenat casks. Like the vin doux naturel fortified red wine from the South of France made primarily from the grenache noir grape variety, the whisky tells the story of a unique journey between earth and sun. The Maury imparts notes of dates, raisins, and honey that intertwine with the subtle smoke and characteristic citrus touches of Kilchoman.
