In 2023, the Hayot family celebrates 235 years of sugar and rum production. Indeed, it was in 1788 that Jean-François Hayot acquired the "La Sucrerie" estate in Martinique. His descendant, Grégoire Hayot, founded the Karukera rhumerie in Guadeloupe in 2006. Today, he is recognized for having pioneered the development of aged rum in Guadeloupe. This anniversary cuvée is a blend of agricole rum aged for 3 years in exceptional barrels patented by the Seguin Moreau cooperage (475/490 in proportion) and cane juice rum distilled in Marie-Galante by master distiller Giani Capovilla, aged for 12 years in sauternes barrels (15/490). The 1,493 decanters of this exceptional rhum are delivered in a luxury box.

Nose : Strong and elegant. The attack is fruity, with notes of candied fruit, cashew nuts and sandalwood. The aromas then evolve into citrus, flowers and spices.

Palate : The aromas are very pronounced, especially the fruity peach and apricot. The sweetness in the mid-palate evolves into spices and vanilla.

Overall : Long, with coconut, toasted caramel and woody notes.
