But if you stop a moment in that beautiful wilderness and listen to the silence, the only sound to be heard soon helps you find it once more: the tide. Like the whisky in our casks, it’s an irresistible reminder of time’s power. Sweet island smoke is revealed in this dark amber autumn gold spirit. Matured for 21 years in American white oak ex bourbon barrels and finessed in ex-American virgin oak.

Nose : Our warming spirit captures the senses with its lively fusion of lemon cake and creamy caramel. Sophisticated aromas are further enhanced by hints of pear and tangy grapefruit with subtle undertones of overripe bananas and ginger biscuits.

Palate : Hidden treasures are revealed on the palate – macaroon, allspice and gingerbread flavours slowly disperse as frangipane, white chocolate and marzipan come into play. A finale of lemon curd is brought to a close with a whisper of smoked coconut._x000D_
