A Tale of Spices takes you on a sensory journey into the heart of these bustling places, thanks to a unique combination of four cask types: Moroccan red wine, new charred oak, Pedro Ximénez sherry, and shaved toasted red wine casks.
The result is a floral, spicy single malt, bursting with rich aromas that capture the spirit of global spice bazaars.
Nose : Spicy, sweet and perfumed, with notes of rose, carnation, jasmine and lilac, layered with cumin, saffron, nutmeg, ginger, chili, anise, and gentle oak and chestnut.
Palate : A burst of sizzling spices - ginger, black pepper, mustard seed - balanced by soft sweetness: mint toffee, demerara sugar, and sugar-coated almonds. A bright eucalyptus note lifts the whole.
Overall : Long and vibrant, releasing hints of clove, leather, and peppermint.
