Aged in an Oloroso sherry cask, Glendronach 1995 (cask #4941) is a fruity, full-bodied whisky. The nose is characterised by fig notes sprinkled with cocoa accompanied by a thin slice of mandarin. The palate is an ode to orchard fruits accompanied by raisins, candied ginger and a few peppercorns. It evolves with increased sweetness and finishes on refined notes of chocolate, caramel and vanilla.
