To celebrate our 200th anniversary, The Glendronach invites you to step back in time to the founding of our distillery in 1826. Our founder, James Allardice, was renowned for hosting the most distinguished members of the gentry, and many anecdotes have been recounted about his charisma and personality. In tribute to our rich heritage, we are proud to present this exclusive special edition, which invites you to step inside the historic walls of Boynsmill House. This exclusive limited edition, aged for 14 years, has been matured in our Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, for which The Glendronach is renowned. Furthermore, Master Blender Rachel Barrie has selected a small number of casks that previously held Clairet wines, to complement this rich and robust character. A tribute to the wines that would have graced the tables at the many festivities Allardice loved to attend. This third cask style perfectly complements The Glendronach’s rich and robust character, adding succulent fruity notes.
