This single malt with a strong personality is blended from a number of casks that have contained oloroso sherry. It comes from the smallest distillery in Scotland (Southern Highlands). An original edition of the Edradour single malt, this 10-year-old version has evolved considerably since Andrew Symington bought the distillery. Originally aged mainly in ex-oloroso sherry casks, Edradour has mellowed and now boasts a beautiful deep gold colour and sweeter notes.
Nose : ample. Marqué par le sherry, la noix, la cire d’abeille et le miel. Evolue sur la pomme et la prune.
Overall : longue, douceur fruitée. Evolue sur le caramel au beurre salé.
