This 2016 vintage, aged 10 years in 1st Fill Sauternes Hogsheads, showcases a brighter and more pastry-driven side of Edradour. The Sauternes casks bring honeyed richness, candied yellow fruits and creamy texture while preserving the spirit’s malty backbone.
Nose : Candied apricot, honey, ripe peach, vanilla and warm brioche.
Palate : Rich and velvety. Yellow fruits, blonde caramel, fresh grapes, sweet spices and custard cream.
Overall : Long and indulgent, with honey, candied fruits and gentle oak.
