This 2015 vintage, selected by Signatory Vintage, matured for 10 years in a 1st Fill Oloroso cask, a highly active wood that enhances the spirit’s natural richness. The result is an intense, concentrated and generous whisky, where sherry influence is both bold and elegant.
Nose : Black raisins, fig, cocoa, brown caramel and walnuts.
Palate : Rich and coating. Dates, plum, dark chocolate, sweet spices and toasted oak.
Overall : Long and warming, with dried fruits, mocha and a slightly tannic edge.
