Nose : Racy, deep. Initially, scents of salted butter caramel, candied apricot and mango rub shoulders with notes of loam and truffle. With aeration, as increasingly intense smoke gradually fills the air, the aromatic palette becomes medicinal, camphorated and iodized.

Appearance : Cuivre orangé soutenu.

Palate : Fine, complex. Like the nose, the palate sees peat and sherry wine playing as equals. Flavors of dried fruit (date, fig), citrus (tangerine, orange) and toffee give a delicious counterpoint to notes of tobacco, iodine tincture and peat with chocolate and tertiary accents (moss, lichen).

Overall : Delicate, subtle. Deeply malty and marine (seaweed), the finish is empyreumatic (tire, bitumen) and animal (bacon, smoked fish). Gourmet, the retro olfaction suggests an apricot tart and heather honey, underlining the warm influence of the Andalusian wine. Long afterwards, we observe a superb malty return.
