In addition to a selection of the finest blue agave, Don Julio 1942 is aged for 2? years in bourbon casks and distilled in small stills. The result is a mellow tequila with light spicy notes. Nose : Fruity. Sweet aromas of caramelized cherries, walnuts, almonds and chocolate. Cinnamon, oak and vanilla follow.
Palate : Silky and balanced, with aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, dried tropical fruit and spices.
Overall : Rich. Aromas of sweet agave with hints of oak and vanilla. Rich, smooth body.
