Description
The famous blended scotch is presented here in an unctuous, complex version. A real benchmark in 18-year-old Scotch Whiskies, it was awarded the spectacularly high grade of 9/10 by Whisky Magazine!
Tasting notes
Nose : full-bodied and creamy, it reveals mellow notes of cereal and ripe fruit (apple, pear). Develops onto citrus fruit (orange, tangerine) and spices (cinnamon, cloves).
Palate : well-balanced, complex, revealing the bittersweet character of malted barley and nuts (almond). Develops notes of quince, honey and fresh tobacco leaf.
Overall : long and supple, it is characterised by ripe pear and spices (pepper). The retro-nasal olfaction unveils notes of heady florals.
