Established in 1881, the Bunnahabhain distillery is built near the Margadale River in the north-east of the Isle of Islay. It is the only distillery on the island to use natural spring water without peat influence. It also has the largest stills on Islay from which it produces a light, aromatic and complex spirit.
Bunnahabhain 18 Year Old is a non-chill filtered single malt which gives it a wide range of aromas. It has a nice roundness and delicate smoky nuances. Its aroma is composed of notes of honey, toffee and a slight hint of oak enhanced by the characteristic iodine notes of Islay.
