Apogee XII is an ode to the craft and art of blending. Composed of a selection of the best single malts from the Highlands and Speyside, the whiskies are first aged for 12 years before being subtly and elaborately blended. They are then aged in ex-Bimber casks, to enhance their fruity, lively and spicy flavours, characteristic of the distillery's casks. Apogee XII is presented in a hammered glass bottle, shaped to imitate the surface of the distillery's small copper stills.

Nose : Complex and gourmet. Notes of spiced pears and baked apricot custard are softened by those of candy necklaces and rosewater perfume, nutmeg and ginger powder.

Palate : Fruity and fresh. An attack on notes of ripe orchard fruits and stone fruits that bring a fresh and tonic sensation. It is then supported by aromas of slightly toasted oak, delicate white pepper and refreshing mint.

Overall : Fruity and woody. A persistent finish of ripe and sweet fruits accompanied by marked and pleasant notes of oak.
