Nose : Rich, full. The nose reveals voluptuous fragrances of candied citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit), green walnut, lichen, slightly damp earth and verbena. Allowed to breathe, aromas of dark chocolate, soot and exotic fruits (persimmon) mix with more medicinal angles (methylene blue, ointment).

Appearance : Jaune topaze.

Palate : Distinguished, slender. On the attack, the sooty notes have become more intense. Animal (bacon), fruity (gooseberry), toasted (toast) and exotic (pineapple, mango), the mid-palate takes on medicinal, herbal (tobacco) and ashy (burnt wood) tones.

Overall : Long, creamy. Grains of malted barley literally roll across the tongue. The rich after-taste is marked by intense notes of dark chocolate. The spicy (cinnamon, ginger) and rooty (gentian) end of the finish is exotic (plantain banana) and tarry (pipe tobacco).
