UBERACH
Uberach, the village "beyond the water", inspired the Bertrand distillery to produce its 1st whisky in 2003. The preparation of the malt, from local brews, is the fruit of precise and precious work that continues at every stage in the creation of the whisky, right through to bottling. Uberach Whisky d'Alsace is matured in barrels carefully selected by Jean Metzger, in the most renowned cellars in Banuyls. The selected casks have been used for several years to mature sweet wines, before being transferred to Uberach. This unique history is subtly expressed in the whiskies in the range.
