Nose : fresh and lively. The initial nose reveals beautiful notes of roasted coffee on a foundation of heady florals (lily of the valley, white lilac) and musk. Further in, we find huge amounts of fresh fruit (apple, pear, peach) and creamy, generous notes of vanilla. Allowed to breathe, citrus fruits (lime, grapefruit) liven up the aromatic palette, which now focuses on malted barley and noble wood._x000D_ _x000D_

Palate : firm, energetic and formidable. An initial veil of strong spices (clove, nutmeg, star anise) sets the tone. Next follow notes of marmalade, spice bread and toasted walnuts which temper the ardour of the attack. Increasingly influenced by sweet pastries and brioche, it takes on notes of panettone. Corinthe raisins, dried fruit (fig, date) and citrus fruit form a gustatory image that is both generous and lustrous. The end of the palate is particularly malty.

Overall : long, very sappy. With its notes of Vosges bonbons, the finish emphasizes its fresh, resinous character. Perfectly balanced, it revisits in turn the elements found on the nose and the palate, adding a thirst-quenching pinch of salt. The retro-nasal olfaction wavers between malted barley - the humidity of a malting floor - delicate woody notes (oak) and salted butter caramel. The empty glass is mentholated and roasted (coffee, tea).
