Color : cuivre orangé

Nose : rich, complex. Marked by peat and swept through with a sea breeze, the nose develops rich and slightly empyreumatic notes of crème brûlée. Allowed to breathe, a foundation of noble wood sees the development of delicious grain notes (sesame) and refreshing and subtle herb aromas (green bamboo).

Palate : full, deep. The palate is fruit-forward (mandarin, prune) and characterized by subtly bitter notes of dark chocolate. With time, mouth-watering spices (cinnamon, ginger) and wood flavours (sandalwood) take hold.

Overall : long, smooth. The rich and oily peat returns to centre stage and softly envelops the taste buds. Altruistically, it makes way, little by little, for autumnal notes of dried fruit and nuts (fig, date, walnut). The retro-nasal olfaction is coated in a fine layer of soot and wavers between spice bread, curry and tobacco.
