ARDBEG 8 ans 1991 Signatory Vintage

A blend of three casks (624, 625, 626), this version was distilled in February 1991 and bottled in May 1999 by Signatory Vintage. Tasting it, we can only thank Andrew Symington for selecting such a fine Ardbeg. Initially, the aromatic palette reveals two totally opposite facets, a non-peaty and a very peaty sequence. Then, in a second phase, the taste palette sinks ever deeper into the peat, drawing not only mineral salts but also an invigorating freshness.
