Tasting it, we can only thank Andrew Symington for selecting such a fine Ardbeg. Initially, the aromatic palette reveals two totally opposite facets, a non-peaty and a very peaty sequence. Then, in a second phase, the taste palette sinks ever deeper into the peat, drawing not only mineral salts but also an invigorating freshness.
