"When East meets West": this Amrut Fusion is the result of blending two special cuvees from the Bangalore malt distillery. The first cuvée is made from 80% malted barley grown at the foot of the Himalayas and 20% peated malted barley from Scotland. Each has been aged separately for four years under tropical climate, accelerating the aging process in the manner of aged Caribbean rums! A round, medium-peaty single malt, not chill-filtered and bottled at 50%, reminiscent of certain Speyside collectors!

Nose : Firm, fine. Honey, sandalwood and roasted malt. Candied citrus, frangipane, licorice and curry.
Palate : Powerful, lively. Malted barley, exotic fruits, green licorice and heady flowers. Finely woody, gingerbread.
Overall : Long and mineral. Malted barley, salted butter. Spices, bergamot and cardamom.
