Equipped with 12 washbacks in which long fermentations last 140 hours, the Amrut distillery acquired four additional stills in 2018, raising its production capacity to one million liters of pure alcohol per year. Aged in new oak barrels, this particularly generous version lets us appreciate all the complexity and richness of its fruity, floral and spicy tones. It also cultivates the art of paradox, brilliantly combining exuberance and classicism.

Nose : Rich, concentrated. With its candied fruit notes (apple, mirabelle plum), strong spices (clove, curry) and heady character (iris concrete), the aromatic palette is extremely complex. On aeration, citrus and precious wood scents rub shoulders with apricot perfumes.

Palate : Dynamic, chiselled. Initially, vanilla beans and coconut milk form a harmonious taste duo. The long, saffron-colored mid-palate is exotic (banana). The palate then returns to the heady iris notes revealed by the nose.

Overall : Long, dense. On the lingering palate, flavors of mango, persimmon and pineapple highlight the particularly exotic character of this version. Infusions of verbena and sage and noble spices (nutmeg, cardamom) punctuate the tasting with class.
